A passion for learning and sharing

I thrive on narrating books that teach me something new or offer valuable insights, while bringing the author’s message to life. My goal? To keep the narration engaging, authentic, and dynamic while letting the material shine. What do the author and listener need, and how can I deliver it seamlessly? From narration/recording to editing, mastering, and final delivery, I provide a full-service experience—precision, professionalism, and passion in every project.

Studio

I have a a dedicated stand-alone sound-treated studio at home. I typically achieve noise floor between -75 to -71 dB RMS, based on the ACX analyzer.

I use a Shure SM7B dynamic vocal microphone in conjunction with a Focusrite Scarlett Solo 4th Gen USB Interface, including an inline Cloudlifter CL-1 amp. I also have a Logitech Blue Yeti X microphone with pop filter, which gives a deeper tone. My primary editing software is Audacity. I have networking available for directed sessions and audio/video conferencing. Currently installed: Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
Available for install as needed: SourceConnect.

My job is to give the clearest narration I can, have a conversation with the listener, and faithfully represent the author’s work
